Update Jan. 23
It seems everybody wants to play in the cold and snow, we’ve had a great response. Unfortunately we need to cut off registration; too many people means less runs for everybody.
I apologize to those who will miss out on this one, I’m unsure if we can fit another winter event in this season.
The weather is favorable (read that as Cold with some snow) so we made a snap decision to have a winter rallycross. It will be a fun day, we’ll have timing set up as usual but no awards or championship points, just bragging rights. We’ll have some cones to mark corners but we don’t really want to have cone penalties. If you do go of course you’ll probably lose more time than a 5 second penalty.
The event is on Saturday Janury 31, 2026 at our Eagles Nest track. We’ll update this page with more details and registration link as we get closer to the date.

Here are the Sup Regs Eagles-nest RX SR 2026 Reading them over is probably a good idea, but not all apply to this fun event.
The first runs start at 10AM. If you want to recce the course you have to have that done by 10AM so arriving earlier than that is a good idea. The plan is for you to run, get back in the lineup and run again. You can do as many runs as you want in the time we have. We’ll have a vehicle with a tow strap for extractions and one or two marshals but we’re not going to be running around resetting cones.
A few details for those that don’t want to read the regs:
Registration is via a Google form and payment by interac transfer to treasurer@kwrc.on.ca or bring cash but we prefer the etransfer method. The cost is $60 for club members or $80 for non-members.
Waivers are now by the online SpeedWaiver which you complete with a smartphone when entering. Use our annual waiver and just do it once and its valid to the end of 2026. Contact me if you have trouble with that. Everybody on the property needs to have completed the waiver. We’re not allowed to use paper anymore.
The online self declaration is here
I don’t know if we’ll be able to provide lunch so make a plan to bring your own drinks and snacks.
We’ll might need help getting the cones and arrows set up in the morning and taken down in the afternoon. We may adjust the course during the day or even run it in the opposite direction. We may do one lap in the morning and two in the afternoon, whatever the majority wants.
We’ll only use the East field,
Spectators are allowed, we just don’t have any facilities like bleachers or concession stands. Bring lawn chairs and your woollies.
A typical layout, we’ll adjust as needed based on what things are like closer to the event. Everybody gets a chance to recce the course if you get there in time.
We've posted the essential and good to have forms in .pdf format so you can read them and fill them out ahead of time if needed. This could be important if you plan to run with a minor for whom who you do not have guardianship authority or if you want to register before the event.
