With weather conditions this year we only ran three championship events this year but actually had four events. RallyCross 2A was to allow more people to run than we could accommodate in one day. If you ran in event #2 you didn’t score points for #2A even if you also entered 2A. That didn’t really affect the championship.
It was a good year. After some struggles to get the track in shape in the spring, having the dozer to level some stuff out and then a tractor & Jim Morton’s land leveler made for an excellent track. Rain on the day of Event #1 prevented us from running and we postponed event #5 due to the dry and dusty conditions. We postponed it just long enough to get into a few days of wet weather and we couldn’t run that event either. Some days you just can’t win.
We’d like to get a fun day in before the end of the year if the weather cooperates. If not, see you next season.
