RallySim Challenge Aug. 27, 2025
As of August 20 this event is postponed until a new date and perhaps a new venue are worked out.
We had good success with our first two RallySim events so we are going to have a third one on Wednesday August 27, 2025. I don’t have a firm booking with the venue yet and some of the machines may need some repair but I am working on that. (July 14)
There is a newer entertainment place called the 19th Hole who have six full race simulator machines. The plan is to rent all six machines for a three hours on Wednesday August 27 from 6-9PM. It’ll be a head to head competition between KWRC and MLRC for both individual and club champions. Obviously we’ll be using rally courses; everybody will run the same course for about 10 minutes, then switch to a new route. The cumulative time will determine the winner much as in regular rally and we may use averaging for the club championship. We think the cost will be $50 per person. Ideally we’d have 18 people with nine from each club but we will try to accommodate everybody who wants to run.
