That SNATR worked out very well. The instructions were the right mix of challenge and fun; all competitors made it to all of the checkpoints – and there were a lot of checkpoints – 16 in total. It’s interesting to note how close the scores were, especially O’Shanahan and Ames who ran the harder experienced instructions after only starting navigational rally in July this year.

Thanks to everybody who helped put the event together; Teresa for helping with the route measuring and scoring, Gord and Phil for the greencrew and Phil for the challenging sections B2 & B3 for the experts. We needed quite a gaggle of checkpoint crews and thanks to Gord for doing opening and A7 & B6, Jeff, Cheryl, Christina, Gary, Brandon, Pam, Steve, Frank and Spencer.

I’m working on the series standings now that things in rally are starting to calm down. We had a really good season with lots of events and we’re starting to plan for 2026.

Thanks everybody – Martin.
