Through KWRC you can get involved in 4 areas of the sport:

Road Rallies - Open to all with a valid Ontario license, these TDS (time-distance-speed) events require a driver and navigator to follow challenging instructions over 200+ kilometers of public roads. An excellent entry into the sport and one that gets the adrenaline pumping!

Rallycross - Also open to all, this event is the entry point to competitive rallying where competitions are held on closed courses with only a driver, or a driver and navigator, to complete the course in the shortest possible time where the best total time of numerous runs determines the winner.

Rallysprint - The closest thing to full out rally racing, rallysprint requires rally prepped cars that race over a single stage with multiple runs.

Competitive Rally - This is racing for properly prepared rally cars and is full out on closed courses.

The best thing is to come to a montly meeting and you can speak with competitors in each of the rallysport disciplines to determine where and how you want to start. These meetings provide invaluable opportunities to learn from those that rally on a regular basis - what works, what doesn't, what you can do.
