The fourth event in our 2017 Saturday Night at the Rallies Series
Saturday August 5th, 2017
Registration opens at 3:30PM,
Car 1 out at 5:01PM,
Finish about 8:00PM
The route runs in the valleys and hills around Elora with some scenic crossings of the Grand River. The route is about 110km of which about 60% are good gravel roads, the rest are paved. . The instructions are simple; accumulative and incremental distance and turns, tulip diagrams, lists, paragraphs, substitution and similar. No special equipment is required but a watch, pen and clipboard will come in handy. We set the time so that the rally should be over before it gets dark. There will be a set of harder instructions for our “experienced” class as well as the beginner class.
Running from the Raceway is a bit different. We’ve got a room upstairs, turn left and go up the stairs when you enter the main doors. There is no racing on Saturday nights but there is a full restaurant and of course the slot machines. It’s a very nice venue but a bit out of the way so you might have to add a bit of travel time to your plans. These are roads you don’t get to see very often.

Here are some sample instructions.
Make sure you bring your valid vehicle ownership and insurance slips with you to the start, as well as a permission letter if you are not the owner of the vehicle.
We’ve posted the waivers .pdf format so you can read them and fill them out ahead of time if needed. This could be important if you plan to run with a minor for whom who you do not have guardianship authority. We will have printed copies at the start. You don’t have to pre-register but if you let us know you are coming we can be sure we have enough instructions printed.
