Toyo Tires Saturday Night at the Rallies Series

As we mentioned above, leg A of Blossom will also be our Second event in our 2018 Toyo Tires  SNATR series.

You can run the Ontario Road Rally Championship (ORRC) Novice and still qualify for the SNATR advanced awards. Everybody who enters, no matter what class, will be entered into the year end draw for the Toyo Tires.

There are two classes of instructions for the SNATR. Basic instructions are designed for people who haven’t run many (or any) navigational rallies and want to try out the sport. Advanced instructions are a bit harder and for this rally will be identical to the Novice instructions for Blossom ORRC. This means that some competitors will be able to score in both the SNATR and the ORRC. If you want the ORRC points, you have to pay the ORRC fee.

There is no requirement to be a club member to enter these events, they are open to everybody.

Check out the brief overview of navigational rallying and this online handbook for more information on how rallies are run.

Here  are samples of the instructions from a previous years.

We’ve posted the waivers so you can read them and fill them out ahead of time if needed. This could be important if you plan to run with a minor for whom who you do not have guardianship authority.

Make sure you bring your valid vehicle ownership and insurance slips with you to the start, as well as a permission letter if you are not the owner of the vehicle. It would help with our planning if you could email me and let me know if you think you may to enter.
