Club Information

The Kitchener Waterloo Rally Club (KWRC) is a car rally club sanctioned by RallySport Ontario (RSO) and the Canadian Association of Rallysport (CARS). For 2023 we are going to organize three rallies in the Ontario Road Rally Cup Series (ORRC), six of our beginner Saturday Night at the Rallies, eight Rallycrosses and a hopefully a RallySprint.

CLUB MEETINGS

A nice way to meet the locals who rally, learn about how they got started and how they remain active in this exciting sport. You do not need to be a member to attend our meetings, all are welcome. The meetings normally are held at the Allan Reuter Centre, 507 King Street East Cambridge, ON N3H 3N5 (see Google Map) and are held on the second Thursday of the month starting at 7:15PM. Our meetings are in-person and virtual, see our Event Calendar for details.

Our membership dues for 2023 are $30.00 per year and runs from January to December. If you need a new membership card for a licence just let martin.loveridge.rally@gmail.com know.

FAQ

How Can I Join KW Rally Club?: Simple, either do it by filling out the online form or come to a meeting and join there. With the online form you have the option of Interac transfer or credit card. Our membership dues for 2023 are $30.00 per year and runs from January to December.

How Can I Be Involved With The Sport?

Through KWRC you can get involved in 4 areas of the sport:

Road Rallies - Open to all with a valid Ontario license, these TDS (time-distance-speed) events require a driver and navigator to follow challenging instructions over 200+ kilometers of public roads. An excellent entry into the sport and one that gets the adrenaline pumping!

Rallycross - Also open to all, this event is the entry point to competitive rallying where competitions are held on closed courses with only a driver, or a driver and navigator, to complete the course in the shortest possible time where the best total time of numerous runs determines the winner.

Rallysprint - The closest thing to full out rally racing, rallysprint requires rally prepped cars that race over a single stage with multiple runs.

Competitive Rally - This is racing for properly prepared rally cars and is full out on closed courses.

I'm New, How Can I Get Started?

The best thing is to come to a montly meeting and you can speak with competitors in each of the rallysport disciplines to determine where and how you want to start. These meetings provide invaluable opportunities to learn from those that rally on a regular basis - what works, what doesn't, what you can do.
